WHY A HOUSE CHURCH?
Hope Community Church believes in doing life together and our mission is to start reaching others for Christ and MATURE each believer. We believe a smaller group setting like a house church creates an environment that promotes maturation as a Christian better than just a Sunday service. This environment allows a believer to ask questions and get answers to equip them as a follower of Jesus Christ. The Leader led discussions are meant to challenge members to get out of their comfort zone and out of the "feed me" mentality and encourage the believer to start reaching other for Christ by equipping them with a greater understanding of the truth and a "serving others" mentality.
WHERE AND WHO HOSTS A HOUSE CHURCH?
Each leader in the Church leads a house church or is involved in a house church. The location of the house church may vary each month or each week depending on arrangement and convenience of the group members.
Currently there are four House Churches that meet regularly:
Brad and Erin Peace: Currently meet at their home in Watsontown on Sundays at 6 pm.
Brett and Sarah Zalonis: Currently meeting at Cindy Appleman's home in Muncy at 6:30 pm on Monday.
Kirk and Patsy Cantor: Currently meet at their home on Sundays at 5 pm
Bob and Linda Eckenronde: Currently meet in their home in Loyalsock on Sundays at 6 pm.
